GoalView Intervention & Special Education Management System Endorsed by the Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE)
GoalView™ Specialized Student Information System -- Accountability for Special Education, Intervention, Title 1 and other Specialized Student Programs --
SANTA ROSA, CA -- Learning Tools International (LTI), a long time provider
of specialized student information management systems, today announced that the
Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE), an affiliate of the Council
for Exceptional Children (CEC) has endorsed GoalView, LTI’s Internet based Specialized
Student Information System.
The endorsement by CASE was made after an extensive review process to ensure that
GoalView met K-12 Educator’s needs and product performance standards. The Product
Review Committee’s rigorous evaluation was based on the CASE Product Review Rubric
focusing on:
- Product marketability and feasibility
- Research based
- Field testing
- Company longevity and reputation
- Enhancement of professional practice advocated by CASE/CEC policy and/or standards
- Addresses member identified needs
- Evidence and documentation of customer satisfaction
GoalView is an Internet student information management system for Special Education,
Intervention, ELL and other educational programs that provide Individualized Learning Plans
(IEPs), Progress Reporting and State and Federal Compliance Reporting to ensure accountability
and improve achievement. GoalView provides a simple, consistent way to plan and track student
achievement, improve accountability, ensure compliance, facilitate communication and improve
collaboration.
Introduced in 1999, GoalView has since been implemented in approximately 100 school districts
around the country to help achieve goals mandated by the No Child Left Behind Act, and the
Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA). Over 2 million final IEP Process documents have
been created by GoalView users, and the number of final documents is increasing by 10,000
per week. Learning Tools believes that GoalView is the most actively used Internet application
for specialized student information management nationally.
