Over the past twenty-four years Learning Tools International has been
the national leader in Specialized Student Information Management Systems. Founded in
1979 in Cambridge, Massachusetts by educators, computer scientists and linguists from
Boston University, Harvard, and MIT, Learning Tools has become the most widely accepted
provider of specialized administrative software in the United States.
Learning Tools began with the development and implementation of the Individual Planning
System™ (IPS), used by thousands of educators throughout the United States. IPS
revolutionized the way educators tracked the progress of students, created
Individualized Education Plans and maintained compliance with all State and Federal
requirements. Today, Learning Tools software is used in thousands of schools throughout
the United States.
Learning Tools International is a California MWBE Corporation, headquartered in Santa
Rosa, California with product development and support offices in Santa Rosa, Los Angeles and
